This tester is clean with good batteries and it appears to be well taken care of. The photos shows the test sequence of the Garmin being tested in the airplane with the tester reading matching the aircraft transponder code and altimeter setting. The transponders test shown were tested on batteries power only. Pictures shows transponder code and altitude and other details of the 49cf.
I am listing this unit as non working for parts because I have no way to completely test this unit. This is a tic model 49 on steroids.
The tic 49 is supported by tic. The king unit was tested without an encoder on the bench. I have partially tested this transponder test set with a Garmin 327 installed in my airplane and a king 76 on the bench with the transponder tester's stub antenna.
The model 49cf mode performs all mode a, c,transponder test and also test tcas. The unit comes with ac power cord, stub antenna, tap 121, tap 131 antenna couplets and a copy of the manual. The manual specifies a tap 135 or 141 couplet to test transponder sensitivity, power and frequency these are not included.
The tcas antenna is part of the case top.
