Narco MK12D with tray and connectors. After we got new different avionics spoke with our guy and he said it was most likely because of specific antenna in plane.

Works great, sometimes the comm can be a little weak. So its mostly the range that made it weak. Came out of a Cessna 172 that has always been hankered and well cared for its entire life, was is not trainer plane. But the Navy worked perfectly for navigating.
