You are buying on an original, faa approved vintage Electro Voice noise cancelling carbon microphone, model 205CRA. It is in excellent condition with only normal wear evident consistent with its age, but this would not affect its performance.
However, I have not tested it as I have no way of doing so. It can't be older that the mid 60s because the box shows a 5 digit zip code. The ra indicates it is a right angle plug model.
It was standard equipment for the following aircraft beech craft bonanza be 35, Cessna 170, Cessna 170a b, and the 1961 172b sky hawk. The box has some staining and shelf wear, but has never gotten wet.
